Having first practised yoga with her mother as a child, and continued her practice throughout young adulthood, Natalie has undertaken serious study of yoga over the last six years, teaching for the last three and a half. She has completed both the primary and second series of ashtanga yoga.
During this time, she has practised many different styles including Iyengar, Sivananda, Bikram, Anusara, Shadow, and Ashtanga. These have all had a powerful effect on her development, uniquely contributing to her knowledge and experience.
After deciding that teaching yoga was her calling in life, she undertook a ten-month apprenticeship training in Shadow / hatha yoga at the West London Yogashala (2003). She then trained intensively at It's Yoga, California and was certified to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga (2004). She recently completed an immersion course in AcroYoga (2007). She also has extensive training in anatomy and physiology.
Natalie regularly practices with Edward Clark (Tripsichore), Jivamukti and Ryan Speilmann / Phillippa Asher (Mysore-style)
Workshops with Edward Clark (Tripsichore), David Swenson, AcroYoga, YogaMonks, Mark Ansari, Duncan Wong, Jules Paxton and Oki (Japanese) Yoga
She also attends Ashtanga workshops with Guruji, Shri K Pattabhi Jois (father of Ashtanga Yoga) on his annual London Tours.
