Having first practised yoga with her mother as a child, and continued her practice throughout young adulthood, Natalie has undertaken serious study of yoga over the last 20 years, teaching full time since 2004.  Her personal practice is vital to her wellbeing – she couldn’t imagine life without daily meditation and asana!

She has practised many different styles including Iyengar, Sivananda, Bikram, Anusara, Jivamukti, Tripsichore, Shadow, Rocket, restorative, vinyasa and Ashtanga. These have all had a powerful effect on her development, uniquely contributing to her knowledge and experience.

After deciding that teaching yoga was her calling in life, she undertook a ten-month apprenticeship training in Shadow / hatha yoga at the West London Yogashala (2003).

She then trained intensively at It’s Yoga, California and was certified to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga (2004).
She trained with YogaBugs (kids yoga) (2005).
She completed an immersion course in AcroYoga (2007).
In 2012, she trained in Triyoga Hot, combining the precision and alignment of Anusara yoga with the heat of a Bikram class.
Steve Haines introduced her to Trauma Release Exercises and she completed the Level One training in 2013.
She has been to study with Sharath in Mysore, India (2014) – She has completed the first three series of Ashtanga yoga
She is certified in Rocket Yoga at It’s Yoga Florence (2014)
She is also a Craniosacral Therapy practitioner with the College of Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust – 2016). This hugely complements her yoga teaching.

In 2017 she took Anna Ashby’s renound restorative teacher training.

She attends retreats/workshops at least twice a year to further her studies and provide greater knowledge, depth and joy to her teaching. She also has extensive training in anatomy and physiology.

Her personal practice is central to her life and is a constant source of joy!

Other inspirational teachers who have enhanced her knowledge include Edward Clark (Tripsichore), David Swenson, AcroYoga, YogaMonks, Mark Ansari, Duncan Wong, Jules Paxton and Oki (Japanese) Yoga, Sarah Powers, Olof, Leila Sahdeghee, Max Strom, Steve Haines, Shiva Rea.

She teaches a mixture of private clients, public and studio classes and workshops in and around the Central and West London area. She also organises retreats in Spain.
